- I shall come out of a shallow closet and point out that I played Dungeons and Dragons as an adolescent - and you can wipe that condescending smirk off your face. The originator of the game that launched a million geeks, Gary Gygax, recently sat for an interview with some modern day geeks. If you were an early geek, it's a trip down memory lane.
- Speaking of early geekdom, I remember spending an unconscionable amount of time at the video arcade in the early eighties. I was a killer Missile Command player, but there was no doubt that Asteroids was probably the most popular game. TwinGalaxies.com has found the highest scorer ever in Asteroids. A bit late, turns out he died in an accident a few years ago, but he gets his posthumous due.
